Automatic versus Manual | Daughter of Terra

This vehicle that I am driving has two functions automatic and manual.
Oh how hard it become to steer in manual mode
You drive in this way conditioned by the old, forcing the petal to the floor with all that happened once before.
So many calculations, decisions, judgment calls. With all this mental activity going on its amazing we can drive at all.

But when I shift from doubt and move into automatic steering
I accept what I am hearing
Let the steering
do the veering
And I remain a silent witness to all the happenings.
Sometimes laughing
No thoughts
No doubts
No worries
I Am Now and never in panic or in a hurry

Just let what comes come and deal with it automatically
Because Manual
Is really Man-u-el
And you assume that you and you alone are in control.
But it can't be when we are driving in the car of our altered ego.

I'm even sick...
with semi automatic
You know when you are just cruising
And then you decide to exert your will
It's confusing sometimes but when you catch yourself its playfully amusing.

Auto as in SELF, but not the lower self like you would believe.
It's the SELF that tells no falsehood in anything ever whispered to me.
The SELF that knows no doubt
The SELF that has nothing to figure out.
The SELF that understands what life is all about.
The SELF that needs not clout, not concerned with color, brand, appearance or size.
The SELF that knows we are all equal in God's eyes.

With this new found appeal to all that is real. I sit back, relax and let God take the wheel.
