Leaders and Followers

We were told that leaders have followers. I really want to challenge this notion. In truth leaders lead other leaders and followers follow other followers. A leader cannot have followers. They can only have an accompaniment of those who find their purpose and reason for being worthwhile. Only followers can have followers. Like attracts like. Even if the head follower’s masters remains to be unseen by the other followers they are still getting directions from somewhere. Hence…following and their followers in turn follow them. A leader leads only leaders and in so doing there is no rigid attachment to them because it is very well understood that leaders lead others to be leaders of their own and in so doing there is a breakaway. It is inherit in the leader modality. No real leader wants a follower for in truth would he really be a leader? He would but diminish his own character and purpose; all the while converting him or herself to that of a follower. In the need to keep the followers eventually you have to do some kind of outreach or something of that effect to get hints and tricks to keep your followers, therefore becoming a follower. A leader goes within. Serves from his heart and guided by the heart and teach others to do the same. Leadership and following dies and is reborn in this leader; as a marriage between local and universal. Between giving and re-giving. In its own self sustaining feedback loop of awesomeness. It is not in seeking something outside it will always lead to disappointment; especially when leaders… natural born leaders; choose to be followers.
