What’s Behind Making Myself Right and Others Wrong?

I’m trying to get to the bottom of the Third-Dimensional practice of making ourselves right and others wrong.
From my own experience, this practice is transcended when we find ourselves in the higher-dimensional love characteristic of the Fifth Dimension and higher.
In the Third Dimension, our vibrations are too dense to bring that kind of love within range of our experiencing.
When we enter into the experience of that transcendent love, the ego is completely disarmed. It doesn’t disappear but it has no role to play when we’re immersed in love.
If this is the case, what function does the 3D practice of making others wrong and myself right serve?
In that dense vibratory range, the ego is concerned with one essential thing: Its function is to promote the survival of itself and everything it identifies with.
It’s easy to know what it identifies with by the use of the words “my” and “mine.”
It can identify with a person like a spouse or child, an object like a house or car, or an experience like a job or vacation.
Flowing from this, one of its survival strategies is to maximize its own victories, wins, and attainments and to minimize those of others. If it’s the leader of the pack, the reasoning goes, its survival chances are thought to be heightened.
Another survival strategy is to hoard things it regards as valuable in life, such as precious metals, currency, personal possessions, food, etc. Sharing is seen as decreasing the chances of survival.
Another survival strategy is to control others and avoid being controlled. Thus men control women; parents control children; teachers control students, etc.
I’ve never known my own ego to be able to experience this higher form of love. And so many of the things it does, such as I just outlined, are not conducive to experiencing love.
Love itself is universal. It cannot be denied to some. Unless we send it out universally, it disappears.
It flows copiously. It does not need to be hoarded and in fact it cannot be hoarded or contained. Its flow is never-ending although our experience of it, before Ascension, is temporary.
The best the ego can attain to are considerations of right and wrong. The mind consults various standards of correctness, appropriateness, precision, history, etc., and renders its opinion of whether the matter in questions conforms to these.
But the ego goes one step further. It raises itself in its own estimation if it considers itself right and lowers the other person if it considers them wrong. And by doing so, it condemns itself to be shorn of all higher love.
If I’m exhausted, sick, or in similar states, I usually cannot experience any kind of love.
Similarly, if I’m as dense as Third Dimensionality brings with it, I cannot experience the rarified love of the Fifth Dimension and higher.
