Giving and Generosity – Part 1/2

Giving and generosity are not always the same. They’re often different.
Everyone can give. But some people do because they feel they have to. Or should.
In my view, no disrespect meant, if we felt forced or obliged to give, that wouldn’t fall under “generosity.”
It isn’t what the Divine Mother, in my opinion, wants us to do. I think she wants us to light the fires of generosity.
The Mother has asked the GAoG team to allow ourselves (among other lightworkers and groups) to be used to light that fire. Here she discusses it:
Divine Mother: You have agreed that you are on, can we say, the receiving end.
Steve: So our allowing ourselves to be in a position to need to ask for help is used as a means to get people to open up?
Divine Mother: To express gratitude, generosity, unity and to express what is valuable to them.
Steve: So that is what the spiritual meaning of this is. That we serve the purpose of igniting people’s generosity or inspiring it.
Divine Mother: That is correct. You are the catalysts. (1)
Tough assignment. But OK. The fire must be lit.
Why is that?
Generosity is a divine state of consciousness. There’s immense value in entering into it – as a state – in and of itself.
But, leaving that aside for the moment (I’ll return to it in Part 2), we’re also the Mother’s financial stewards and we’ll be administering a significant stream of funds in her post-Reval New Earth.
I don’t think we’ll get very far if we’re giving with suspicion, resentment, or worry about ourselves.
At some point, whether we know it or not, we’ll have to light the fires of our own generosity to do the job we’ll face.
It’s there inside us but dormant. The Mother wants GAoG to serve as the occasion for awakening it again.
If we have an inner block against giving generously, then lighting our fires may require some inner work, now or later. The cost is lower now.
I’m seeing things from the other side now, playing this role in her plan. And I do see the sense of it.
So please, use this as an occasion to light the fires of generosity. Press the “Donate” button below and give to the upkeep of the blog – on a one-time basis or, better still, on a monthly basis. Start in on generous giving but don’t stop with us. The Mother is using many other lightworkers in the same way as us.
