Holding the Vision | Steve Beckow

Holding the Vision

I used to think of holding the vision as one of the duties I had as CEO of a group of philanthropic companies.

Now I see it as perhaps my only job – as CEO. Not as editor.

I was future-pacing myself after the Reval and in my imagination I hired a researcher before leaving on vacation. I tasked “them” (“him or her “is so cumbersome) with researching universal basic incomes so that I could get right to work on the project upon my return.

I told him I didn’t want him identifying me as the source of his interest in researching the subject. Just to say he had an interest himself. I was not ready to end my anonymity yet.

And so I looked at that. What would happen when my anonymity ended. Well, I might be speaking to the press a fair amount.

Archangel Michael talked about this some time ago:

“Those who are in a position of stewardship, of beginning projects that lead the way to the building and the re-creation of what Nova Earth is truly about … become the spokesbeings for many.” (1)

Spokesbeings talk a lot to the press. And, as one, what would I be talking about? The vision and how it’s being manifested.

Moreover, I’d be happy if my chief function with the company was the elucidation and support of the vision, with the employees. They might include overseeing the organization of college degree programs for philanthropists, designed to fit the student’s modality – print, video, music, dance, etc.

Holding lectures on cultural sensitivity and credibility analysis. Sponsoring a think tank, one that recognizes the power of love and welcomes divine co-creative partnership.

Sponsoring lots and lots of publications on building Nova Earth – websites too, video channels, etc.

Underwriting youth enterprise around the globe.

But to do that by only holding the vision, not descending into the doingness. For me that’ll be the challenge.
