Vision for a New Politics – Part 1/2

If I’m asking others to come forward and offer their visions for the new, I suppose I should be willing to contribute to that discussion as well.
Before I start out, I should make the rider that my business on the blog isn’t to start anything, run it, or transform it. My business is to envision it and write about it.
Plus what I say here abut politics applies only to where we are now – which allegedly is the Fourth Dimension. It isn’t meant to represent how things will be after Ascension. What I discuss here is meant as a stopgap measure between now and then.
I suggest a new political coalition focused and built on the center. You can call me a “Centrist,” if a label is needed.
But what I mean by the “center” covers all senses of the word, all levels of meaning, the more deeply-spiritual the better.
Highest of all the meanings is the “Center” that is the spiritual heart, the place where love flows and with it compassion and concern for others.
It really is the place where the Self resides, just as the scriptures say. Burrow deep into the center, the heart, and you really do arrive at the Self, as I did on Sept. 18, 2018 (and you were there). (1) That makes the heart the seat of the Self.
In the higher dimensions, there’s no need for words like “fairness” or “forgiveness” and they quickly fall out of usage. The love that one drowns in makes their usage superfluous. No one perpetrates.
Everyone in 5D lives in the center in the sense that their hearts are permanently open (a definition of Ascension) and the love that we all are – in common – flows effortlessly between us.
Rumi and Omar Kayyham, if I recall correctly, often compared this higher-dimensional form of love to being drunk. Yes, that’s a fair comparison. Without the side effects of being drunk, but lost in bliss and enjoyment. This kind of love is often called ambrosia or nectar in various scriptures.
Inescapably, the notion of “Centrism” is based on this knowledge. But not everyone will agree with this spiritual interpretation.
So there must be an interim, political interpretation and I offer this.
In a political sense, the “Center” refers to moderation, harmlessness, truth-telling, harmony, and peace among all sentient beings.
It means a turning aside from appeals to strong emotions like jingoism, militarism, race or religious hatred, etc. It means the foreswearing of violence or any kind of force.
It leads to tranquillity and stability that arises when one remains balanced and grounded. It respects the feelings of one’s self and others. And it values listening equally with speaking.
If I were to reduce this description to a single word I’d choose the word “moderation.”
