"The God of Miracles is About to Move!"
Holly Watson, Costa Mesa, CA
For the past several days I've been hearing a phrase adapted from the Scripture verse of Hebrews 12:24 replaying in my spirit, "And the Blood speaks a better word..."
I love how the New Living Translation portrays this passage: "You have come to Jesus, the One who mediates the new covenant between God and people, and to the sprinkled Blood, which speaks of forgiveness instead of crying out for vengeance like the blood of Abel" (Hebrews 12:24).
"When we decree the Word of the Lord over any situation, angels respond to the sound of His Word as supernatural aids who carry God's orders, to manifest His glory."
Being alive in the world today, you no doubt feel the shaking of everything that can be shaken (the earth, our government, the religious systems, the arts, entertainment and media mountains and the unity of family etc.). This is happening so that which cannot be shaken may remain (Hebrews 12:27). Every day in the news media, in our spheres of influence and in the public square, we witness the principalities and powers of darkness warring against the angelic hosts of Heaven, attempting to gain dominion and power over the people of God and in the earth realm.
There's a battle between good and evil, light and darkness, and truth and lies. The voice of injustice is being echoed in all spheres of society, while our Creator sets His hand to the gavel and demonstrates His mighty power. There is no shortage of vengeance across the land. However, we have a Mediator, Jesus, who shed His Blood on the Cross of Calvary as a sign of forgiveness, mercy and peace. We have the sprinkled Blood of the Lamb, who is the voice of healing, redemption and justice on behalf of all those being buffeted by the accuser of the brethren (2 Corinthians 12:7-10). We have the Spirit of prophecy, which is breathing on the dry bones of the land – awakening our hearts to the Lord's resurrection power (Ezekiel 37)!
"Then I heard a loud voice in Heaven say: 'Now have come the salvation and the power and the Kingdom of our God, and the authority of His Messiah. For the accuser of our brothers and sisters, who accuses them before God day and night, has been hurled down. They triumphed over him by the Blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death.'" (Revelation 12:10-11)
Breaking the Sound Barriers to Shake Atmospheres
The Lord has been quickening my spirit about the Hebrew year of 5779 as being a year where the voice of the Lord thunders. While I was recently experiencing a season of heavy spiritual warfare, I heard the Holy Spirit speak to my heart and say, "Your decrees are breaking the sound barriers in the heavenlies."
When an aircraft breaks the sound barrier, it creates a sonic boom that shakes the earth with its force and power. Breaking the sound barrier creates shock waves in the atmosphere and produces tangible effects on the earth realm. When the sound barrier is broken, an eruption of sound ripples through the atmosphere causing a sonic boom, as a result of an aircraft reaching an accelerated speed of 770 miles per hour. When the sound barrier is broken, a change in pressure creates an atmospheric shift, conducive to a physical breakthrough.
The atmospheric pressure causes the aircraft to outrun the pressure built-up behind it, and causes the sound waves to create the audible sound of a sonic boom. The effects of sound, an acceleration of speed, and a release of pressure causes the earth realm to experience the impact of what's happening behind the scenes (1 Corinthians 2:9). When God spoke over the darkness of the earth in Genesis chapter 1, His voice activated the dividing of darkness from light; over what was void and without form (Genesis 1:1-4). It was the sound of God's voice moving with His Spirit, that created goodness to appear over the expanse of the earth (vs. 4). It was in the decree of the Lord proclaiming, "Let there be light"that light appeared on the evening and morning of the first day!
In Job 38:12-13 Scripture says, "Have you commanded the morning since your days began, and caused the dawn to know its place, that it might take hold of the ends of the earth, and the wicked be shaken out of it?"
Our decrees are breaking the sound barriers in the heavenlies! Our prophetic utterances are transforming the fate of nations as the sound of our sonic boom (Heaven's agenda) ripples through all spheres of society. When prophets and prophetic people stand at the gates of a city, a region, a nation, the 7 mountains of society, the halls of justice, our governmental systems – the authority of our words echo through the streets, eradicating the principalities and powers of darkness. When we release our sound into dark places, darkness must bow at the name of Jesus! When we decree the Word of the Lord over any situation, angels respond to the sound of His Word as supernatural aids who carry God's orders to manifest His glory.
"The effects of sound, an acceleration of speed, and a release of pressure causes the earth realm to experience the impact of what's happening behind the scenes (1 Corinthians 2:9)."
Evil has no authority where light resides! Paradigms are shifted when the voice of the Lord thunders! Breakthroughs appear when the God of the universe decrees from the court rooms of Heaven that He is in our midst, mighty to save!
"This decision is by the decree of the watchers, and the sentence by the word of the holy ones, in order the the living may know that the Most High rules in the kingdom of men..." (Daniel 4:17)
The Pressing is Producing Acceleration and Breakthrough
Over the past several weeks the Lord has been quickening my spirit through the story of Gideon in Judges 6. When Gideon was in the wine press threshing wheat, the Angel of the Lord appeared to Gideon and activated his destiny. Gideon was discouraged and hard-pressed on every side when the Word of the Lord interrupted Gideon's plight and said, "The Lord is with you, you mighty man of valor" (Judges 6:12)! Gideon's response was an interesting one. Gideon said, "O my Lord, if the Lord is with us, why then has all this happened to us? And where are all His miracles which our fathers told us about" (vs. 13)?
Gideon was in "the press" when God interrupted his process. Gideon was in a season of sifting when He called out to the God of miracles to demonstrate His mighty power. Gideon had heard of all the wonderful works that the God of breakthrough had performed for his ancestors; but Gideon longed for firsthand experience, to see God move miraculously in his midst (vs. 14)!
Many of the saints of God have been experiencing a season of pressing and sifting. God is removing the chaff from the wheat to make room for His goodness to appear in the form of fresh wine and oil. What's been eliminated in the press is for Kingdom advancement and progress. What's been separated from our person is for our good and for God's purposes!

The stress of the press is preparation for your promotion. You were sifted – which created the shifting – to make room for your upgrade. There's sound of breakthrough that is in the air! Momentum is building and the Spirit of the Lord is moving. Your prison days are over. It's time for the palace! I can hear it in the wind; the God of miracles is about to move.
"You are the God who does wonders; You have declared Your strength among the peoples. You have with Your arm redeemed Your people, the sons of Jacob and Joseph. Selah" (Psalm 77:14-15).
