"You will Not be Curtailed! God is Bringing His Justice in Our Lives!"
Alane Haynes, San Diego, CA
Over the last few months, it seems there has been a substantial increase of warfare against the Body of Christ. Many are facing sickness, sudden losses and other devastating events. Others seem to be in a place of despondency from attacks of a different nature. I have been seeking the Lord for wisdom.
A few weeks ago, I distinctly heard, "No more side rails or derails—you will not be curtailed, for I have prevailed!" I also heard, "The Lord thy God in the midst of thee is mighty..." (Zeph. 3:17). Then at a recent prophetic event, I had two visions during worship that added meaning to this word and confirmed what I sensed in my spirit. During the first, I once again heard, "The Lord thy God in the midst of thee is mighty..." (Zeph. 3:17), and then again as I was awakened recently. I know when the Lord repeats things to me, it means pay attention!
Making Short Work of the Enemy
The Lord is doing a great work in the earth right now, and He is preparing His Bride to rule by His side. I am sensing that in this season He is moving mightily on behalf of His people in the heavenlies so that we can see Him in His rulership. When we shift into Heaven's viewpoint, we see the overcoming King and the enemy can no longer side rail or derail us, and the curtailment of God's plans cease. I have personally seen attacks, both overt and covert in my family, and I can easily fall into despair if I do not see Him as the mighty God in the midst. He wants to stir our faith by our recognition and belief in His ruling authority—He rules over all and He prevails!
"My Blood overcomes all the enemy's plans; now go forth to take the land."
"The LORD shall go forth as a mighty man, He shall stir up jealousy like a man of war: He shall cry, yea, roar; He shall prevail against His enemies." (Isa. 42:13 KJV)
"And they shall fight against thee; but they shall not prevail against thee; for I am with thee, saith the LORD, to deliver thee." (Jer. 1:19 KJV)
During the prophetic event I noted previously, we were worshipping in unity when I saw the first vision. I saw a large river, the waters were moving, and there were angels dancing and rejoicing as a gentle rain fell. I heard once again, "The LORD thy God in the midst of thee is mighty..." (Zeph. 3:17 KJV) As I watched, the rain began turning to gold which formed into large drops. It seemed the angels were releasing the gold upon the waters. I asked the Lord what He was saying through this. He responded that when we recognize He is mighty in the midst of our struggles, we are rightly positioned and aligned to truth.
Rightly Aligning to Truth - His Blood is Sufficient!
Waters moving often represent our emotions in turmoil, whether discordant or oppressed. When we surrender all that we are going through (for we are all struggling with some situation, whether family, job, finances, health, etc.) to Him in the truth of His sovereignty and goodness, a measure of His glory is released to fill that place in us. In our sacrifice of worship, His glory establishes order in the turmoil of our soul.
Later, the worship shifted and there was a strong cadence sound. As I began to see another vision, I was filled with an overwhelming fear of the Lord – a sense of reverential awe at the reality of being in the presence of the Most High God. I saw a vast landscape of destruction and darkness, void of life. I saw tears falling from Heaven, the Father's heart breaking. My vision expanded and I saw the Lion of the tribe of Judah seated on a high, rocky ledge overlooking the devastation.
I trembled inwardly at the magnitude of His majesty. He arose, shook His mane with purpose, and roared a sound that vibrated to the depths of my being. As He roared, blood began to pour out from the rock and spread across the landscape, filling every part. Then light began to break through at the horizon, and sprouts of new life began bursting from the ground. Behind the Lion I saw a vast array of men, women and children moving forward in confidence, and a host of angels surrounding them. I heard:
"My Blood is sufficient, I have prevailed. See Me upon the throne and walk in faith in Me alone. There is no weapon that can stand against all that belongs to the Son of Man. My Blood is sufficient, I paid the price for all sin, now it is time to enter in. Bring My light to the darkness; do not dread. Walk in boldness and speak life to the dead."
The Lord is Mighty!
As I was writing this out, Holy Spirit reminded me of Rev. 5:5, that the Lion of the tribe of Judah has prevailed! Today as I awoke, I was once again reminded of Zech. 3:17, "The Lord thy God in the midst of thee is mighty...!" As I worshipped Him, Holy Spirit brought to mind 2 Chron. 20:20-25. Worshipping warriors love this story. King Jehoshaphat sent forth the worshippers out first to the battle and God went before them, causing their enemies to destroy each other. The people of Judah did not need to fight at all, and they were three days recovering the spoils. Holy Spirit told me to go back to the beginning of 2 Chron. 20.
The cities of Ammon, Moab and Mount Seir were coming against Judah. Jehoshaphat called a fast and prayed. (Fasting is an act of consecration unto the Lord and His purposes.) This is key to victory – setting our heart to live for the Lord and His will. What did Jehoshaphat pray? This is important. There is no victory in worshipping just for the sake of worshipping, or using it as a magic wand. Jesus said true worshippers worship in spirit and truth. King Jehoshaphat noted God's rulership, power and might as He prayed, reminded God of His covenant, and implored Him to enact justice against His enemies. Then the Spirit of the Lord came upon Jahaziel and he released the prophetic word with strategy and direction. (Photo via Flickr)
I believe Holy Spirit is emphasizing the need to bring our mind into truth – God is mighty, He is the ruler of all, we are in covenant with Him through the Blood of Jesus Christ, and He desires to see justice in the earth. Pray in the spirit, but also with understanding that our God is mighty and desires to see His Kingdom established in the earth. He is just, and He desires justice in the earth. His Blood demands and provides justice! We declare His justice to override all the plans of the enemy, and decree that His justice go forth as the dawn. "By me kings reign, and princes decree justice" (Prov. 8:15 KJV). We are kings and priests! (Rev. 1:6, 5:10)
"Of the increase of His government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon His Kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the LORD of hosts will perform this." (Is. 9:7 KJV)
"Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will raise unto David a righteous Branch, and a King shall reign and prosper, and shall execute judgment and justice in the earth." (Jer. 23:5 KJV)
Overcoming the Enemy's Plans through Justice
I hear the Lord say, "My Blood overcomes all the enemy's plans; now go forth to take the land. Decree My justice, the price has been paid, the enemy's destruction has been waylaid. I have roared, My authority is complete, the enemy's plans are in full defeat. Come into line with the truth; I have won! Move into the authority of My Son. Take the land, the time is now; unto Me alone you must bow. Do not be deceived by the enemy's lies; let truth of victory be realized. Do not be afraid of the enemy's illusion; I am bringing His camps to utter confusion. As kings and priests go forth and decree and you will see the enemy flee; you have been given authority."
"And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build My Church; and the gates of Hell shall not prevail against it." (Matt. 16:18 KJV)
"When we shift into Heaven's viewpoint, we see the overcoming King and the enemy can no longer side rail or derail us, and the curtailment of God's plans cease."
Holy Spirit has been emphasizing to many that this is a time of acceleration, this is a time of a great work in the earth to see God's justice enacted. God is working to bring His justice in our lives.
What does being just mean? According to the Thayer's Greek Lexicon, it means upright, righteous, virtuous, observing divine and human laws. This is a time when God is purifying His Bride, desiring us to be just – walking in the righteousness of Christ!
"And he shall go before him in the spirit and power of Elias, to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just; to make ready a people prepared for the Lord." (Luke 1:17 KJV)
The Just Live by Faith
Seeing Jesus as the Righteous One, and ourselves covered by His Blood, should exhort us to offer our bodies as a living sacrifice and submit fully to His will. Only then can we truly walk in His authority and see His Kingdom come. Jesus, exhorting His disciples to keep praying, taught a parable about an unjust judge and asked a compelling question that should cause us to search our hearts:
"For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written, 'The just shall live by faith.'" (Romans 1:17 KJV)
Will Jesus find just ones walking in faith? We are told four times in the Word of God that the just shall live by faith – once in the Old Testament and three times in the New Testament! Jesus is the Just One (Acts 7:52, 22:14). It is time to allow Him to have His way in our lives, to see Him as the Most High God, the Holy One of Israel, the Lion of the tribe of Judah roaring to see His Kingdom come. This is not a time to draw back! It is time to keep pressing forward in faith – trusting the Lord completely, and yielding fully to Him. It is time to let our soul (our mind, will and emotions) be fully saved.
"Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him. But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul." (Heb. 10:38-39 KJV)
Roaring in the Midst of Darkness
I am hearing, "In the midst of devastation and darkness I AM roaring; can you hear? My Blood covers all that was lost at the fall. Hear My roar, let the truth shift your thinking. I AM El Elyon, the Most High God, higher than any circumstances. I am El Shaddai, God of all might, in the midst of thee. Even as the lion roars in his domain and his kingdom is made known, bringing fear and trembling, know that I have roared, I AM roaring and will continue to roar. The sound of My roaring is an eternal sound, piercing the heavens and the earth. Can you hear? Let the roar of My omnipotence break off fear and doubt. I AM in the midst of thee. (Photo via Unsplash)
"Know that I AM in you. Let the reality of the power of the Blood of My Son shed for you shift you into the truth that the Kingdom is at hand. Allow My holiness to work within you, and bring forth to the earth the righteousness that My all-sufficient and perpetual sacrifice brings. Roar over your flesh, your soul and your circumstances that the Lion of Judah reigns. The subterfuge of the enemy has caused a numbness, a shutting down, a faithlessness causing you to sink down in your circumstances and turn to fleshly and soulish endeavors. Submit to My will and be made My pure treasures!
"Hear My roar, align and release. Wake up, oh sleeper! I am the Mighty God in the midst of thee. Will you let Me receive My inheritance in and through you? Cross over through the veil of your flesh; break all ties to the lies, open your eyes, declare that the enemy is in demise. Declare sight to those bound in the enemy's illusion and his camp is brought to utter confusion. Now is the time for the big surprise – My sons and daughters to come forth – ARISE! Decree it is finished, be not curtailed. Decree My justice; I have prevailed!"
"The lion hath roared, who will not fear? the Lord GOD hath spoken, who can but prophesy?" (Amos 3:8 KJV)
